M in an oblong cartouche for the Franklyn Mint with lion passant and an anchor for the Birmingham assay office, complete with a gothic date letter'C' in a square cartouche for 1977.
The egg is in lovely condition with no dents or damage with beautiful age-related patina/patination, commensurate with 42 years of age, but nothing unusual. The box is also in good condition in keeping with its age as is all the associated paperwork (certificate of authenticity). Height: 3 inches or 7.6 cm.
